Hi, I’m Matthew Rice. I’m a film student with a strong passion for cinematography and storytelling. As I dive deeper into my studies, I’m dedicated to mastering the craft of visual storytelling and capturing moments that resonate with audiences. My goal is to bring unique and compelling narratives to life through the lens of the camera.

In my view, short films are the perfect canvas for exploring the darker corners of the mind and creating unforgettable, atmospheric experiences. I’m particularly drawn to horror and mind-bending narratives that challenge perceptions and provoke deep, lingering thoughts.

For me, documentaries are a way to explore and share untold stories that might otherwise go unseen. I’m passionate about capturing real-life experiences and presenting them in a way that offers new perspectives and deeper understanding.

Experimental Projects

My experimental projects are all about breaking the mold and exploring unconventional approaches to storytelling. I’m driven by a desire to create innovative works that offer fresh, unexpected experiences for my audience, pushing the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.
